Savvie Marketing | Agency Year in Review | 2024 Wrapped

A Year of Growth, Challenges, and Memorable Moments at Savvie

As we reflect on 2024, it’s hard to believe how much has happened in a single year. This year has been a whirlwind of creativity, collaboration, and a few unexpected moments that will go down in agency history.

Grab a cup of coffee, take a seat, and join us as we take a look back at our unforgettable year.

Honored with the "Extraordinary Commitment to Impact Award" 🎉

First and foremost, we're incredibly proud to share that in 2024, we were honored with the *Extraordinary Commitment to Impact Award* by Step Beyond Green to Healthy. This award recognizes the work we’ve done to support sustainable business practices and create meaningful, lasting impact for our clients and communities. It’s an honor that reflects the passion and dedication of our team, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be part of such an important initiative.

A Duck, a Window, and a Moment of Panic 🦆

No year is complete without a bit of chaos, and 2024 certainly delivered on that front. One morning, we had a surprise visitor at the office – a mallard. Yes, you read that right – a duck. The bird, clearly in need of a break from its daily flight path, decided our office window was the perfect place for a pit stop. Thankfully, the mallard was unharmed (we think), but the same can’t be said for the window. RIP, window. You served us well.

Platform Malfunctions, and Some Not-So-Great Language 🖥️

If there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that tech never fails to throw a wrench into the gears at the most inconvenient times. This year, we found ourselves cursing more than we'd care to admit at platform malfunctions, glitchy video calls, and unresponsive systems. But, as the saying goes, "What doesn't break us makes us stronger" – or at least more creative when it comes to finding workarounds. At the end of the day, we kept things running (somehow) and moved forward with an increasingly full swear jar.

Campaigns, Branding, and Countless Zoom Calls 📈

Despite the occasional tech hiccup, we were hard at work on a wide variety of projects throughout the year. From launching new campaigns to rebranding efforts, we helped our clients tell their stories through engaging videos, dynamic websites, and on-point social posts. We wrote blogs that resonated, sent emails that got opened, and hosted meetings via Zoom (even though, let’s be honest, we’re all a little tired of the "you’re on mute" joke).

Supporting a Good Cause (And Shooting Clays) 🎯

For the 4th year in a row, we found time to step outside the office and support a great cause while getting a little competitive. We participated in a trap shooting event that benefitted a local charity. It was a great opportunity to bond as a team, enjoy some fresh air, and contribute to something bigger than ourselves. We’re pleased to say that everyone returned with all their fingers and no broken bones. And we might have even hit a few targets along the way! (Ah-hem, yes … just a “few” for some of us LOL.)

Eating Wings, Drinking Drinks, and Enjoying the Good Life 🍻🍗

What's a year in review without a little indulgence? Between brainstorming sessions, late nights, and the occasional sprints to meet deadlines, we made sure to take time to enjoy the simple pleasures. Wings were devoured. Drinks were sipped. Summer was fested! We laughed, we bonded, and we made memories that will last far longer than the calories.

The Plants We Killed (With Love) 🌱

There’s no gentle way to say this – we killed quite a few plants this year. No, it wasn't due to neglect – it was our over-zealous janitor's efforts at keeping the office fresh and green. Turns out, the plants were a bit... too fresh. Too much water, too much love. RIP to the flora that couldn’t quite make it through the year. Here's hoping 2025 will be kinder to our indoor jungle.

Lots of Laughs and Grateful Moments 😄

Through the ups and downs, the deadlines and malfunctions, the duck attacks and the plant disasters, one thing remained constant: We laughed a lot. With camaraderie and a shared sense of humor, we didn’t let any (er, well, many) challenges get in the way of keeping the mood light and fun.

As we look ahead to 2025, we’re excited for the new opportunities and challenges that await. We’ll continue to create innovative solutions, strengthen our partnerships, and, of course, keep our sense of humor intact. Here’s to another year of growth, creativity, and living work / life to the fullest!

Thank you to everyone who’s made this year an unforgettable one and cheers to 2025!
